
Every year during the Columbus Day Weekend the Scituate Art Festival returns, and this year is more exciting than ever!
This festival has been running since 1967 to fund the restoration of a congregational church in Scituate. Now the fair boasts nearly 300 exhibitors! The Scituate Art Festival raises money for town groups, projects, and the continued restoration of the 1831 old congregational church in the center of the town. Money raised at the festival is also used for grants for the community. Take a stroll down the street as it is transformed into an incredible display of art, antiques, handmade items, home-decor and so much more.

Music is also a large part of this festival, “Kings Row” plays from 11-1 and “Reggie Centracchio Quintet” from 2-4 on Saturday , “Night Life Orchestra” plays from 11-1 and the “R.I. Rednecks” from 2-4 on Sunday , and on Monday the “Tribeca Band RI” from 11 am – 1 pm followed by the Michael Lupo Band from 2-4 pm. There is also a large area with all kinds of food for purchase and picnic tables for sitting and a listening. This festival, in its 48th year, is one of the best family festivals with all kinds of art vendors, musicians, food vendors, kids fun and much more. It is a great place to begin holiday shopping, and a the perfect place to be to kick off the fall. The area is bursting with fall foliage, the perfect backdrop for this local fair.
This festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Monday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
